RMLIMS Gets Major Boost as CM Adityanath Unveils New Facilities Worth Crores

On the occasion of the 5th foundation day celebration of Dr. Ram Manohar Lohia Institute of Medical Sciences (RMLIMS), Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath has laid the foundation stone of healthcare facilities at RMLIMS worth INR 298 crore.
The initiative aims at boosting medical infrastructure, expanding patient care, and strengthening healthcare delivery across Uttar Pradesh.
Addressing the event held at Indira Gandhi Pratishthan, Lucknow. CM said that “life is defined by three states: tendency, distortion, and culture.”
“Staying unchanged is a tendency, continuous decline is distortion, and decisions taken in the larger public and national interest embody culture,” he added.
Key Highlights of the HealthCare Project
CM inaugurated UP's first Advanced Neurosciences Center for the treatment of brain tumors and neurological diseases. Built at an expenditure of INR 100 crore, the Center houses 200 beds divided between neurosurgery and neurology, along with 60 ICU beds.
He laid the stone of the state’s first Gamma Knife machine bunker, estimated at a cost of INR 5 crore, while the procurement of the machine itself costs around INR 48 crore.
Besides that, the CM also unveiled a robotic surgery system worth approximately INR 35 crore.
The CM added that work on the expansion of medical devices and pharma parks is being rapidly done in the state, which includes a medical device park in Gautam Buddha Nagar and a pharma park in Lalitpur.
