Hello Heart Launches World’s First AI Tool for Heart Health & Medication Management
The tool is grounded in clinical research guidelines and offers personalized insights on heart health, nutrition, exercise, symptoms, and stress management.
California-based Preventive Healthcare platform Hello Heart has unveiled the world’s first AI heart health assistant, ‘Nia’, along with AI medication management tools.
The Hello Heart’s new Medication Management integrated suite has three tools designed to provide seamless personalized care.
The first pillar is the 24/7 virtual AI assistant ‘Nia’ that answers questions about medications, their side effects, and also provides clear guidance on prescriptions and when to consult a clinician.
The tool is grounded in clinical research guidelines and offers personalized insights on heart health, nutrition, exercise, symptoms, stress management, and provides practical, easy-to-understand advice tailored to each user.
The second pillar is the Hello Heart Pill Box, which has light cues for personalized reminders, which is connected with the Hello Heart App that provides automatic tracking, making medication management intuitive and effortless.
Furthermore, the tool incorporates expert medication reviews for high-risk members, flagging missed prescriptions or dosing changes, and guiding them back to their primary care providers.
Maayan Cohen, CEO and co-founder, Hello Heart, said, “Nia makes heart health simpler, smarter, and more personal. For the first time, millions of people can have access to a supportive heart health companion in their pocket, one that turns complex medical information into clear guidance and helps them stay on life-saving treatments.”
He further added, “By improving adherence and helping reduce preventable hospitalizations, Nia not only empowers members to live healthier lives but also delivers meaningful cost savings for employers and health plans.”
The new suite of tools aims to help patients take their medications and manage side effects.
As per reports, nearly 44 % of people with high blood pressure don’t take their medications as prescribed, and three in four are not taking the right medications or dose.
These gaps lead to preventable hospitalizations, worsening symptoms, and a higher risk of heart attacks and strokes.
With the introduction of ‘Nia’, Hello Heart aims to bridge this gap by helping members understand their treatments, manage side effects, and stay adherent through Hello Heart’s new Medication Management solution.
“This new suite of tools ensures the right medications, supports adherence, and reduces risk,” said Edo Paz, MD, SVP, Medical Affairs at Hello Heart.
“It translates to stronger outcomes, fewer hospital stays, and lower costs while giving members the reassurance and confidence they need to take control of their heart health,” he added.
