After Leadership Shuffle, Even Healthcare to Set Up New Hospital in Bengaluru

The new expansion initiative aligns with the startup’s vision to ensure access to healthcare, enabling patients with a cordinated care

Bengaluru-based Even Healthcare has announced plans to establish its second hospital in Bengaluru, in Indiranagar, with an estimated INR 30-40 crore investment.

The development comes months after the startup announced a series of leadership appointments in Even Healthcare, with Animesh Roy being appointed Chief Executive Officer of Even Hospitals, Dr. Chandrika Kambam elevated to Director of Balloon Healthcare, and Chandan Kumar being promoted to Chief Business Officer

Reportedly, the facility work is undergoing and is expected to be completed by mid-2026.

Commenting on the expansion initiative, Mayank Banerjee, Co-founder, Even Healthcare, said, “Our mission at Even is to make healthcare seamless, coordinated, and easily accessible for every patient. That means not only integrating care across doctors, technology, and hospitals, but also ensuring that physical access to care is never a barrier.”

The upcoming facility follows the earlier launch of the company’s first hospital in May 2025 in Bengaluru.

Further, the new expansion initiative aligns with the startup’s vision to ensure access to healthcare within a 5 km radius across Bengaluru, enabling patients to access coordinated care closer to their location.

“As we expand across Bengaluru, we are working toward a network where an Even hospital is always within a 5km radius, so people can access dependable healthcare close to home,” he added.

Earlier this year, the Bengaluru-based startup had raised $20 million in a funding round led by existing investors Lachy Groom and Alpha Wave Global, with participation from Sharrp Ventures.

The new capital infusion is aimed at expanding its managed-care hospital network and further deepening its integrated care model while integrating advanced digital health technologies, including AI-driven tools and expanded telemedicine capabilities, across its hospital operations.
