Even Healthcare Bags $20Mn to Expand Managed-Care Hospitals in Bengaluru

The startup plans to use the new funding to integrate advanced digital health technologies, including AI-driven tools and expanded telemedicine capabilities, across its hospital operations.

Bengaluru-based healthcare startup Even Healthcare has secured $20 million in new funding to expand its managed-care hospital network and deepen its integrated care model.

The funding round was led by existing investors Lachy Groom and Alpha Wave Global, with participation from Sharrp Ventures.

The fresh capital brings Even Healthcare’s total funding to approximately $70 million.

The startup plans to use the funds to expand its hospital footprint in Bengaluru and strengthen its managed-care approach, which combines primary care, diagnostics, hospitalisation, and post-discharge support under one model.

Under this approach, care teams are responsible for the full continuum of care, providing early access through 24/7 teleconsultations, coordinated diagnostics, hospital care when necessary, and structured recovery support at home with care teams remaining involved from initial diagnosis through post-discharge follow-up.

The approach is designed to ensure continuity of care and reduce avoidable complications, admissions, and readmissions.

In addition, the startup plans to use the new funding to integrate advanced digital health technologies, including AI-driven tools and expanded telemedicine capabilities, across its hospital operations.

Even Healthcare, founded in 2020, operates on a membership-based managed-care model and has reported improvements in clinical outcomes, including reductions in post-surgery readmissions. The latest funding round is expected to support the continued growth and development of the company’s care delivery ecosystem.

Commenting on the new investment, Mayank Banerjee, Co‑Founder, Even Healthcare, said, “We’re proud of this milestone because it’s fast by hospital standards. What matters even more is how we got there: Even’s model is structurally designed to reduce unnecessary admissions, long stays, and avoidable return visits.”
