The newly introduced hospital marks the second facility in the city and features a 100+ bed super speciality setup.

Leading hospital network in India, Ujala Cygnus, has launched a Super Speciality Hospital in Haldwani aimed at strengthening healthcare access across Uttarakhand.

The newly introduced hospital marks the second facility in the city and features a more than 100-bedded super-speciality setup.

The facility is designed to strengthen access to high-quality advanced treatment and critical care services for patients and families across Kumaon.

It is expected to reduce the need to travel to metro cities for advanced care services by bringing specialised treatment and healthcare infrastructure to the region.

The facility is equipped with advanced medical infrastructure, including CT Scan, MRI services, modular operating theatres, advanced ICUs, and emergency care systems.

The hospital combines modern technology with patient-centred, comprehensive care under one roof and is expected to support comprehensive diagnosis, treatment, and recovery services.

The new unit will offer multidisciplinary treatment through a team of over 20 experienced specialists across more than 15 medical specialities.

In addition, it will offer comprehensive care in Oncology, Neurology & Neurosurgery, Gastroenterology, Pulmonology, Nephrology, Urology, Emergency & Critical Care, and more.

The latest move expands Ujala Cygnus'hospital footprint across North India.

Currently, the hospital chain operates 26 hospitals with over 3,000 beds, and a team of more than 800 doctors across the North India region.

The expansion is expected to enhance emergency response accessibility, strengthen intensive care, and make healthcare affordable across Uttarakhand.

Last year, Ujala Cygnus Healthcare Services added 70 hospital beds to its hospital network to enhance hospital infrastructure in tier-2 and tier-3 cities.

The addition was expected to reduce patient wait times and offer safer recovery environments.
