The companies plan to establish and operate pathology laboratories and expand the commercialisation of Lord’s Mark’s medical devices, equipment, and other healthcare solutions across the region.
India’s leading medtech company, Lord’s Mark Industries, has partnered with Caribbean-based ARKALL Holdings to expand healthcare infrastructure, diagnostics, and medical technology access across 28 Caribbean countries.
Under the collaboration, the companies plan to establish and operate pathology laboratories and expand the commercialisation of Lord’s Mark’s medical devices, equipment, in-vitro diagnostic (IVD) products, and other healthcare solutions across the region.
Commenting on the latest partnership, Dr. Sachidanand Upadhyay, Managing Director & CEO, Lord’s Mark Industries Limited, said, “Our collaboration with ARKALL Holdings Limited marks an important step in taking Lord’s Mark’s healthcare and med-tech capabilities to a wider international market. The Caribbean expansion will allow us to combine our medical technology, pathology and dialysis capabilities with ARKALL’s regional commercial presence."
"We see this partnership as a long-term platform for expanding our export footprint while contributing to the development of accessible and technology-enabled healthcare infrastructure across the region," he added.
The initiative will begin with Trinidad and Tobago before being progressively extended to other Caribbean markets over the next three years.
Proposed Deal
As part of the partnership, ARKALL Holdings is expected to provide the investment required to establish and scale the pathology laboratory operations and support the commercialisation of Lord’s Mark’s healthcare and medical equipment portfolio in the region.
Meanwhile, Lord’s Mark will provide a range of healthcare and medtech equipment, including rapid diagnostic test kits, biochemistry reagents, pathology laboratory products, medical equipment and dialysis machines.
Additionally, the company also aims to provide technical guidance, product knowledge, training, and operational support.
According to Lord’s Mark, the identified pathology and diagnostics opportunity across the 28 Caribbean markets is estimated at approximately US$1.24 billion.
The company has projected potential export revenue of around US$100 million between FY2027 and FY2031 from the phased expansion, subject to implementation, regulatory requirements, and market adoption.
The partnership is structured around a phased expansion model. The companies will initially undertake market assessments and business planning in Trinidad and Tobago, followed by a gradual expansion into other Caribbean markets.
Moreover, it is expected to create a scalable healthcare platform combining pathology and diagnostics infrastructure with access to medical technology and equipment.
