Ujala Cygnus Appoints Nitin Nag as CEO to Lead North India Expansion

Ujala Cygnus Healthcare Services has announced the appointment of Nitin Nag as its new Managing Director and CEO.
The appointment comes as the hospital network accelerates its expansion in North India, aiming to strengthen tertiary healthcare access in Tier-II and Tier-III cities.
Nitin brings with him nearly three decades of leadership experience across healthcare and IT sectors, having previously held senior positions at Cloudnine Hospitals, Manipal Ankur, Tech Mahindra, and MphasiS. He has also led large, multi-geography teams in India and international markets including the UK, USA, Sri Lanka, Nigeria, and Malaysia.
In a statement posted on LinkedIn, Ujala Cygnus said, “We are pleased to welcome Nitin Nag as the new Managing Director & Chief Executive Officer of Ujala Cygnus Healthcare Services. With close to 3 decades of leadership experience across healthcare and IT, Nitin brings a unique blend of operational acumen and strategic depth.”
The hospital network, backed by General Atlantic and Amar Ujala Group, currently operates 28 hospitals with 2,800 beds across Uttar Pradesh, Punjab, J&K, Uttarakhand, and Haryana. Following its partnership with Amandeep Hospitals, Ujala Cygnus is focused on delivering affordable, quality healthcare services in underserved communities across North India.
