TruBridge & Artesia General Hospital Collaborate to Integrate Microsoft Dragon Copilot into EHR
The new initiative integrates Dragon Copilot with TruBridge’s EHR platform, enabling real-time clinical documentation through Ambient AI.
US-based leading healthtech provider, TruBridge, for rural and community hospitals, has partnered with Artesia General Hospital (AGH) to integrate Microsoft Dragon Copilot into its clinical workflows, aiming at improving operational efficiency and strengthening care delivery.
Microsoft’s Dragon Copilot is an AI-powered clinical assistant that leverages ambient listening technology designed to capture interactions between clinicians and patients.
The new initiative integrates Dragon Copilot with TruBridge’s EHR platform, enabling real-time clinical documentation through Ambient AI.
The system captures conversations between clinicians and patients during visits and converts them into structured medical notes within the existing workflow.
The AI-driven solution combines speech recognition, natural language processing, and Context-aware AI capabilities to reduce administrative workload and streamline documentation.
By directly operating within the EHR system, it seeks to enable clinicians to review and finalize notes without switching between platforms.
The system is also designed to distinguish between clinically relevant information and general conversations, organizing the patient interactions into structured clinical notes.
The approach is intended to support accurate and consistent record-keeping.
Additionally, the system also includes multi-speaker recognition designed to distinguish between clinicians, patients, and caregivers, as well as real-time language translation to assist communication with diverse patient populations.
According to the organisations, early deployment results have demonstrated a significant reduction in documentation time, improving efficiency for healthcare providers.
