Park Medi World Limited Completes Acquisition of SVPD Healthcare
This move forms a part of the company’s plan to acquire KP Institute of Medical Sciences, a 360-bed hospital in Agra.
North India’s leading hospital chain, Park Medi World, has announced the complete acquisition of SVPD Healthcare, making it a wholly owned subsidiary of the company.
This move forms a part of the company’s plan to acquire KP Institute of Medical Sciences, a 360-bed hospital in Agra.
The transaction has been structured through the purchase of two entities, KPS Wellness and SVPD Healthcare, which together hold the ownership of the KPIMS hospital.
Earlier, the company had completed the acquisition of KPS Wellness on January 30, 2026, marking the first phase of the transaction. With the completion of the SVPD Healthcare acquisition, the company has secured full ownership control of both entities associated with KPIMS.
The development follows the company’s announcement last year to acquire KPIMS in an all-cash transaction valued at approximately INR 245 crore.
The acquisition reportedly aligns with Park Group’s cluster-based growth strategy, aimed at improving operational efficiencies and achieving economies of scale by expanding hospital presence in geographically proximate markets.
It also seeks to strengthen the Group’s footprint in key urban centers across North India, with Agra identified as a high-potential healthcare market.
Recently, the hospital chain had also announced plans to launch a new multispecialty hospital in Panchkula, Haryana, designed to accommodate up to 350 beds and offering tertiary and quaternary care services across multiple specialities.
