Marengo Asia Hospitals Launches MARC to Advance Robotic Orthopaedic Care

MARC brings together services across joint preservation, joint replacement, pediatric orthopaedics, deformity correction, regenerative orthopaedics, trauma reconstruction, and rehabilitation.

Marengo Asia Hospitals, Gurugram, has unveiled Marengo Asia Robotic Centre (MARC) for Orthopaedics & Joint Care, aimed at improving surgical precision, recovery outcomes, and patient experience by shifting focus from procedure volumes to value-driven, technology-enabled care.

The launch comes at a time when robotic systems are increasingly shaping modern orthopaedics by enabling higher accuracy in joint alignment, reduced surgical variability, and improved post-operative recovery.

“For decades, healthcare has measured success by the number of procedures performed. At MARC, we measure success by how well our patients heal,” said Dr Hemant Sharma, Chairman, Marengo Asia Robotic Centre for Orthopaedics & Joint Care (MARC).

“This centre reflects over 30 years of learning across India and the UK, grounded in the belief that true excellence is achieved when precision is guided by compassion and technology strengthens – rather than replaces – human judgment,” he added.

In India, the adoption of robotic-assisted joint replacement has steadily increased over the past decade, driven by rising arthritis burden, longer life expectancy, and patient demand for faster rehabilitation.

MARC builds on this momentum by embedding robotics within a structured ecosystem that includes specialised clinical teams, defined care pathways, and rehabilitation protocols designed to support consistent outcomes.

“The launch of the Marengo Asia Robotic Centre for Orthopaedics & Joint Care represents a decisive step in our group’s mission to advance outcomes through precision-led care. Robotic-assisted orthopaedics is not about technology alone – it is about consistency, accuracy, and predictability, enabling surgeons to deliver better functional results and patients to recover with confidence. I congratulate our clinicians, technology partners, and operations teams whose collective effort has brought this vision to life. Their collaboration reflects the culture we are building at Marengo Asia Hospitals – one that values clinical rigour, teamwork, and long-term impact,” added Dr Raajiv Singhal, Founding Member, Group Managing Director and CEO, Marengo Asia Hospitals.

Beyond its technological capabilities, MARC brings together services across joint preservation, joint replacement, pediatric orthopaedics, deformity correction, regenerative orthopaedics, trauma reconstruction, and rehabilitation.

“MARC has been thoughtfully designed as a dedicated orthopaedic ecosystem – with ring-fenced clinical pathways, specialised nursing teams, and structured rehabilitation protocols. This integrated model enables safer procedures, smoother recoveries, and a consistently high standard of patient experience,” said Dr Saurabh Lall, Vice President & Facility Director, Marengo Asia Hospitals, Gurugram.
