Even Healthcare Raises $50 Mn in Series B Funding Led by Khosla Ventures
Even Healthcare will use the fresh capital to open five hospitals across Bengaluru over the next six months.
Bengaluru-based Even Healthcare has raised $50 Mn in a Series B funding round led by existing investor Khosla Ventures, with participation from Alpha Wave.
The latest investment has tripled the company's valuation compared with its previous fundraise 18 months ago, taking its total funding to more than $120 Mn.
Even Healthcare will use the fresh capital to open five hospitals across Bengaluru over the next six months.
The funding comes as the company seeks to expand its managed care model, which combines healthcare delivery, financing and technology to provide continuous patient support.
Rather than focusing solely on individual consultations or hospital visits, Even Healthcare aims to manage the patient's journey from the first consultation through hospitalisation and post-discharge recovery.
Even Healthcare's membership-based approach connects consultations, diagnostics, hospital admissions and follow-up care services through a dedicated care team.
The company provides cashless hospital care through insurance partners and says its model is designed to reduce unnecessary procedures and prioritise patient outcomes.
“Most healthcare companies optimise one piece of a fragmented system. Even is attempting something much more ambitious: integrating the financing, technology and delivery of care so that the system is rewarded for better health outcomes rather than greater utilisation,” said Vinod Khosla, founder of Khosla Ventures. “The clinical and economic results so far give us conviction that this can become an important new model for healthcare in India and beyond.”
Even Healthcare said its first full year of managed care programmes, conducted with insurance partners, recorded unplanned hospital readmission rates below 1%, compared with an industry range of 8% to 15%.
The company also reported average hospital stays that were 40% shorter. Its proactive care interventions helped more than 200 members avoid hospitalisation, generating estimated savings of INR 15-16 Cr for patients.
An AI-based quality system reviews cases against clinical protocols in real time, helping identify potential issues while patients are receiving care.
Founded in 2021 by Mayank Banerjee, Matilde Giglio and Alessandro Ialongo, Even Healthcare currently serves more than 2.5 lakh members across 10 cities.
In Jan 2026, Even Healthcare bagged $20 Mn in a funding round led by existing investors Lachy Groom and Alpha Wave Global, with participation from Sharrp Ventures, and subsequently announced plans to establish its second hospital in Bengaluru with an estimated INR 30-40 Cr investment.
The next phase of expansion will begin in Bengaluru's Indiranagar locality, with five additional hospitals planned across the city over the next six months.
Even Healthcare aims to establish a hospital within five kilometres of every member in Bengaluru before extending the model to other major Indian cities.
