Delhi's House of Diagnostics to Raise $40 Mn in New Funding Round
The proposed capital infusion is expected to support House of Diagnostics' growth trajectory, including expansion and strengthening service offerings
Delhi-based medical diagnostic services chain has initiated a primary fundraising round to raise between USD 30 million and USD 40 million.
If completed as planned, the round would mark the company’s first significant external capital infusion.
As per reports, the company is working with professional services firm EY India to manage the fundraising process.
The proposed capital infusion is expected to support House of Diagnostics' growth trajectory, including extending its geographic footprint and strengthening service offerings.
Founded in 2008, House of Diagnostics reported revenues of INR 150 crore in the financial year 2024, up from INR 120 crore the previous year.
Currently, HOD operates a network of diagnostic centres offering imaging, pathology, and other medical testing services in several Indian states, including Delhi, Haryana, and Uttar Pradesh, and plans to expand into additional markets.
As per a recent industry report, the diagnostic sector is expected to grow at a compound annual rate of about 12 % to reach USD 15–16 billion over the next five years.
Further, the Industry Observers note that diagnostic service providers are increasingly focusing on geographic expansion, technology adoption, and service integration to remain competitive in a fragmented market.
The proposed funding round is expected to support House of Diagnostics’ plans along these lines as it seeks to scale its operations in the coming years.
