Vista Imaging Collabs with Medikabazaar & United Imaging to Launch India’s First 640-Slice AI-Powered CT Scanner in Hyderabad
The system is designed to generate high-resolution diagnostic images while optimizing radiation exposure, supporting a wide range of clinical applications, including cardiology, neurology, oncology, trauma care, and preventive screening.
Vista Imaging and Medical Center has partnered with Medikabazaar and United Imaging Healthcare to launch India’s first advanced CT 960+ Advanced AI-powered 640-slice CT scanner in Hyderabad.
The system was inaugurated by the Deputy Chief Minister of Telangana, Mallu Bhatti Vikramarka, in the presence of Uttam Kumar Reddy, Minister of Irrigation & CAD, Food & Civil Supplies, Government of Telangana, along with senior doctors and other officials from the state.
The newly introduced system, uCT 960+, has been installed at a diagnostic facility operated by Vista Imaging and Medical Center, aimed at strengthening access to advanced diagnostic imaging in the region.
This initiative is expected to boost Hyderabad’s position as a leading hub for advanced medical diagnostics and technology-driven healthcare services.
Sharing his thoughts, Dr. Vijay Bhaskar Nori, Managing Director and Chief Radiologist at Vista Imaging & Medical Centre, said, “The introduction of the uCT 960+ is a major advancement for diagnostic imaging in our region. With its ultra-high speed and precision imaging capabilities, we will be able to deliver more accurate cardiac, neurological, and whole-body diagnostics while ensuring greater patient comfort and reduced radiation exposure. This technology will significantly enhance our ability to detect diseases earlier and support clinicians in making faster, more confident clinical decisions.”
The 640-slice CT scanner integrates ultra-wide detector coverage, high-speed imaging, and AI-powered reconstruction capabilities.
The system is designed to generate high-resolution diagnostic images while optimizing radiation exposure, supporting a wide range of clinical applications, including cardiology, neurology, oncology, trauma care, and preventive screening.
Additionally, it can also capture the entire heart in a single rotation, which is expected to enable advanced cardiac imaging with enhanced precision.
Further, the system is designed to perform rapid whole-body scans designed to support emergency diagnostics, stroke evaluation, and complex clinical assessments where speed and accuracy are critical.
