Thyrocare Appoints Dr Ramesh Kinha as Chief Operating Officer

India’s leading healthcare diagnostics provider, Thyrocare Technologies, has announced the appointment of Dr Ramesh Kinha as its Chief Operating Officer

In his new role, he will be responsible for overseeing lab operations and strengthening quality standards across Thyrocare’s network.

The appointment seeks to support the company’s effort to strengthen leadership and operational capabilities as it pursues long-term, sustainable growth.

A Seasoned Healthcare & Diagnostic Leader

Dr Kinha brings more than 17 years of experience in the healthcare and diagnostics sector to his new role.

Before joining Thyrocare, Dr Kinha served as Group Director of Laboratory Services at Vijaya Diagnostic Center, where he led critical operational and quality initiatives.

Furthermore, his extensive career includes senior leadership roles at Apollo Health & Lifestyle, Medall Healthcare, Metropolis Healthcare, and SRL, where he has delivered operational excellence and driven strategic transformation.

Additionally, Dr Kinha holds an MBBS degree and an MD in Pathology, and has completed senior management and leadership programmes at IIM Nagpur and the Indian School of Business. He is also a certified assessor with the National Accreditation Board for Testing and Calibration Laboratories (NABL).

With a background in leadership in hospital management, strategic expansion, and digital transformation, Kinha’s appointment is expected to enhance operational capabilities, expand service delivery, and support Thyrocare's aim to scale nationwide.

Thyrocare, a Mumbai-based diagnostics company and a key healthcare arm of API Holdings’ integrated healthcare services platform, operates a strong network focused on doorstep sample collection and laboratory testing.
