St. John’s Research Institute in Bengaluru has announced a partnership with France-based startup H Company to advance the use of agentic AI.
Under the collaboration, St John’s Institute, which facilitates research and innovation, shall work together with H company to deploy agentic AI designed to automate repetitive and time-intensive tasks.
The inititaive seek to improve operational efficiency and allow healthcare professionals to focus more on patient care and reduce the administrative burden on medical and clinical staff.
The initial phase of the initiative will focus on integrating the AI systems to help manage resource allocation and support coordination among clinical staff within a live hospital environment.
In addition, the deployment phase is scheduled to begin with operational integration and testing aligned with existing workflows at the institute.
The collaboration was also highlighted by the French President Emmanuel Macron during his inaugural address at the India AI Impact Summit 2026 in New Delhi.
In remarks on Indo-French Collaboration, Macron cited the partnership between St. John's and France-based H company as an example of how Artificial Intelligence can transform hospital administration and strengthen public service environments such as healthcare.
The partnership was developed jointly by leadership from St John’s Research Institute, including Dr Tony D.S. Raj and Dr Dhinagaran D, together with representatives from H Company.
