Medanta Expands Footprint with New 550-Bed Noida Hospital

The full 550-bed capacity is scheduled to become operational in the second phase.

Medanta, a prominent name in Indian healthcare, has inaugurated its new 550-bed super-specialty hospital in Noida, strategically located in Sector 50 with direct metro connectivity.

The launch is a key move in the hospital group's aggressive expansion strategy, strengthening its presence in the Delhi-NCR region and extending advanced medical services to Western Uttar Pradesh.

The facility, built with an investment of approximately ₹350 crore, has commenced operations in a phased manner. It opens with an initial capacity of 300 beds, including over 100 dedicated to critical care and five state-of-the-art operating theatres.

The full 550-bed capacity is scheduled to become operational in the second phase.

The Noida branch is positioned as a hub for advanced medical technology. It is equipped with cutting-edge medical devices and systems, including the Da Vinci Xi Surgical Robot for precision surgeries, a next-generation O-Arm imaging system for real-time surgical guidance, and an Artis Icono AI-driven Biplane Cath Lab for complex cardiac and neurovascular procedures.

The hospital’s diagnostic capabilities are equally powerful, featuring a 3 Tesla MRI, a 256-Slice Dual Source CT, a PET Scan, and a Gamma Camera, ensuring comprehensive and accurate diagnostic services.

A broad spectrum of over 20 super-specialities will be offered, with a strong focus on oncology, cardiology, neurosciences, gastroenterology, and orthopaedics. The hospital’s services will include specialized care in organ transplantation, a field where Medanta has established a formidable reputation.

To support these services, Medanta has onboarded a formidable clinical team of over 60 senior clinical experts, including 30 directors. This team is set to deliver integrated and holistic patient care, ensuring a seamless and high-quality healthcare experience.

This new facility marks a significant step in Global Health Limited’s (Medanta's parent company) plan to increase its total bed capacity from over 3,000 to 6,000 in the coming years.

The company is set to invest around ₹4,000 crore to achieve this target, with new hospitals planned for Mumbai and Guwahati, alongside the expansion of existing facilities.
