This facility will offer advanced diagnostics, critical care, and surgical services across key specialties, with a focus on complex procedures and patient-centric care.
Medanta Hospital will formally inaugurate its Noida facility on August 15. This marks the group’s second unit in Uttar Pradesh after its Lucknow hospital.
The new multi-specialty facility will begin operations with 300 beds in its first phase. In the second phase, capacity is planned to be ramped up to 550 beds.
An estimated investment of around ₹350 crore has gone into the project.
According to the hospital group, this Noida facility will offer advanced diagnostics, critical care, and surgical services across key specialties, with a focus on complex procedures and patient-centric care.
Earlier we reported that, Medanta is also developing several Greenfield projects, including a 700-bed hospital in Mumbai. These expansions will increase Medanta’s total capacity from 3,000 beds to over 5,000 within the next three years.
The organization aims to serve underserved regions by introducing advanced medical facilities where they are currently lacking.
Pankaj Sahni, Group CEO of Medanta, outlined plans for capacity expansion at existing hospitals. The Lucknow facility, currently operating with 750 beds, will be increased to 1,000 beds, with an additional 200 beds being integrated into the infrastructure.
Similarly, the Patna hospital, which has a 650-bed capacity, will see its operational beds rise from 430 to the full 650.
In Ranchi, Medanta has signed an agreement to expand its facility by 150 beds, increasing total capacity from 200 to 350 beds. Operations are expected to commence within two to three months.
Medanta remains focused on identifying new cities where high-quality healthcare services are needed. While further expansion plans are in progress, the organization is taking a measured approach to ensure sustainable growth.
