Inviga Healthcare Fund Acquires 21% Stake in Forus Health

Its integrated digital platform, powered by artificial intelligence and oculomics, has delivered last-mile diagnostic access to over 5 million patients globally.

Inviga Healthcare Fund (IHF), a private equity firm founded by HealthCare Global Enterprises (HCG) Chairman Dr B. S. Ajaikumar, has announced the acquisition of a 21% stake in Forus Health Pvt. Ltd

Forus Health, headquartered in Bengaluru, is known for its ophthalmic diagnostic platforms, notably for its AI-powered 3nethra series of screening devices.

Reportedly, the AI device has screened over 22 million patients across more than 75 countries to date.

Further, its integrated digital platform, powered by artificial intelligence and oculomics, has delivered last-mile diagnostic access to over 5 million patients globally.

The transaction also marks Inviga’s second significant investment in the healthcare space, after backing vaccine innovator Mynvax in 2024. It reflects Inviga’s dual strategy of building multi-speciality hospital platforms alongside investing in emerging healthcare and life sciences companies with scalable impact.
