Around 15 centres are expected to be established, with a longer-term vision of expanding to nearly 150 centres across India by 2028.

India’s first Integrated Rural Medical Centre (IRMC) has been launched at Sakhinetipalli in Andhra Pradesh by Doctor Plus in collaboration with Bisam Pharma and Quick Vitals, aiming to bridge critical healthcare gaps in rural regions through a unified, technology-enabled care model with AI-powered diagnostics.

The newly launched centre at Sakhinetipalli in Dr B.R. Ambedkar Konaseema district has been positioned as a central hub for nearby villages, where patients can access general physicians, specialist consultations and preventive care services.

The centre also supports teleconsultations, connecting patients with specialists across geographies and reducing the need for travel.

Speaking at the inauguration, Harish Reddy Bisam, Founder, Bisam Group of Companies, said, "The initiative aims to bridge the healthcare gap between urban and rural India by combining technology, traditional knowledge and modern medicine. This Integrated Rural Medical Centre it towards accessible and is not just a facility-it represents a movement towards accessible and preventive healthcare for villages."

DoctorsPlus Services is a cloud-based digital platform, headquartered in Australia, that enables global access to doctor-patient connectivity, appointment scheduling, e-prescriptions, digital records, and patient engagement tools.

QuickVitals, a Hyderabad-based healthtech platform, adds an AI-driven layer with real-time vital monitoring and early risk detection to support timely clinical decisions. Bisam Pharma, headquartered in Victoria, Australia, contributes its pharmaceutical manufacturing expertise, including its work in Ayurvedic formulations.

The organisation has outlined plans to scale this model, with upcoming centres in Addakal and Khem Karan village near the India-Pakistan border in Punjab.
