HLL also revealed a partnership with the Government of Odisha to establish and operate a Trauma Care Centre at Panikoili in Jajpur district.

HLL Lifecare, a Trivandrum-based Indian healthcare product manufacturing company, has introduced AMRIT Plus, a pharmacy chain, and launched Speciality HINDLABS advanced diagnostics services and home healthcare offerings, marking a broader push to strengthen access to integrated healthcare solutions across India.

HLL Lifecare, a Mini Ratna public sector enterprise under the Ministry of Health and Family Welfare, has long been associated with affordable healthcare delivery through initiatives such as the AMRIT (Affordable Medicines and Reliable Implants for Treatment) network.

The organisation has played a significant role in improving access to medicines, diagnostics and healthcare services across the country. With rising demand for preventive care, specialised testing and home-based treatment, healthcare providers are increasingly investing in integrated service models that extend beyond traditional hospital settings.

The newly launched AMRIT Plus pharmacy chain has been positioned as an upgraded healthcare retail format offering medicines, medical devices, wellness products, nutritional supplements, personal care items and lifestyle healthcare solutions.

While designed to provide a premium customer experience, the chain continues to build on the affordability and accessibility principles associated with the AMRIT brand.

HLL Chairperson and Managing Director Dr Anitha Thampi formally launched the expansion. During the event, she also inaugurated Speciality HINDLABS, an advanced diagnostics initiative that will provide specialised testing services, including genomics, Next-Generation Sequencing (NGS) and molecular diagnostics.

These technologies are increasingly being adopted across healthcare systems for precision medicine, disease detection and personalised treatment planning.

In another development, the company introduced HLL Home Healthcare Services, a platform designed to deliver healthcare support directly to patients' homes.

The service portfolio includes skilled nursing care, post-operative assistance, physiotherapy and rehabilitation, elderly care, chronic disease management, diagnostic support and teleconsultation services.

Further broadening its healthcare infrastructure initiatives, HLL revealed a partnership with the Government of Odisha to establish and operate a Trauma Care Centre at Panikoili in Jajpur district.

The facility is planned as a comprehensive trauma and emergency care centre and will be expanded in phases to address growing healthcare requirements in the region.
