Bengaluru-based DocPharma Raises $2 Mn in Funding to Support Network Expansion
DocPharma provides an AI-powered SaaS platform for healthcare and wellness businesses.
Bengaluru-based healthcare-focused DocPharma (Fledge Healthplus) has raised $ 2 million in a pre-Series A funding round led by Equentis, with participation from existing investors 100Unicorns, Vinners and a consortium of strategic angel investors.
The startup plans to deploy the fresh capital towards expanding its operations to 50 cities across India and establishing 100 new licensed dark stores.
Founded by Saquib Ali, Shashank Rai and Sagar Chauhan in 2024, DocPharma provides an AI-powered SaaS platform for healthcare and wellness businesses.
The startup operates a quick-commerce supply chain network serving healthcare businesses and functions as a backend infrastructure provider for healthcare platforms.
DocPharma’s dark stores carry more than 40,000 SKUs each and are supported by an AI-driven, pharmacist-led compliance infrastructure.
Its network of licensed dark stores, combined with a SaaS platform and a prescription-compliant fulfilment process, enables pharmacies, health insurers, hospitals, D2C wellness and nutraceutical brands, etc to streamline healthcare delivery services within a short duration.
At the core of its technology stack is DocPharma One, its proprietary software platform that combines warehouse management, inventory tracking, order management, and fulfilment into a single system.
According to the startup, it gives real-time visibility into stock, routes orders to the nearest compliant store, and handles prescription verification at the speed quick commerce customers have come to expect.
DocPharma’s infrastructure is designed to help healthcare businesses manage the operational complexities associated with healthcare fulfillment, including prescription compliance, inventory availability, and distributed order processing.
Currently, the startup serves more than 30 healthcare and wellness platforms, including e-pharmacies, hospitals, health insurers, corporate wellness, and D2C brands.
