Thyme Care Raises $125M Series E to Expand Oncology Care Platform
The round values the company at more than $2 billion and will support its expansion into new areas of cancer care.
US oncology care company Thyme Care has raised more than $125 million in Series E financing, led by JPMorgan’s Morgan Health, with participation from strategic investors including Humana and CVS Health Ventures. The round values the company at more than $2 billion and will support its expansion into new areas of cancer care.
The financing comes less than a year after Thyme Care secured $97 million in Series D funding. Institutional investors participating in the latest round include AlleyCorp, HealthQuest Capital, Foresite Capital, Concord Health Partners, Frist Cressey Ventures, Town Hall Ventures and a16z Bio + Health.
Founded in 2020 by Flatiron Health alumni Dr. Bobby Green and Robin Shah, Thyme Care provides technology-enabled oncology care navigation for patients from the peri-diagnostic stage through post-diagnostic care. The company works with health plans, employers and risk-bearing providers to coordinate cancer care and reduce costs.
Its platform combines 24/7 specialized cancer care navigation, technology and data insights, and oncologist-led therapeutic interventions. Through its Thyme Care Oncology Partners program, the company’s care teams integrate with more than 1,400 oncologists.
Thyme Care said its services are currently available to 10.5 million people nationwide and that it manages more than $7 billion in oncology spending. The company reports validated reductions of 5% to 10% in total cost of care and said it is profitable with positive free cash flow.
The company has also expanded its actively treated patient base from about 10,000 at the end of 2024 to 135,000 as of August 2026.
The new financing will establish Thyme Companies, a parent organization focused on developing independent businesses targeting broader challenges in oncology. Areas under development include increasing adoption of lower-cost biosimilars and improving clinical trial enrollment. The first new business is expected to launch later this year.
The leadership transition announced in July will continue under the new structure. Brad Diephuis, M.D., is CEO of Thyme Care, while co-founder Shah serves as executive chairman of Thyme Companies. Green remains president and chief medical officer of Thyme Care.
