The headquarters of Bangkok Hospital, part of Thailand’s leading private hospital network Bangkok Dusit Medical Services (BDMS) has unveiled a new wearable device, the ‘CardioWatch Bracelet,’.

The CardioWatch Bracelet is designed to enable continuous monitoring of patients’ vital signs.

The newly unveiled product captures a range of health metrics in real time, including blood pressure, pulse, oxygen saturation, respiration rate, heart rate (via PPG and ECG), stress levels, and sleep patterns.

The device is specifically designed for patients with stroke, heart disease, and high blood pressure.

The bracelet is linked to the hospital monitoring system which is expected to enable doctors and nurses to track patients remotely, limiting the need for in-person checks and minimizing interruptions to patient rest.

Further the device gathers longitudinal data which can be leveraged to enhance clinical outcomes and streamline hospital workflows.

This launch follows Bangkok Hospital’s recent introduction of Advanced Proton Therapy, making it the first provider in Thailand’s private sector to offer this advanced cancer treatment.

With these initiatives, the hospital aims to integrate advanced technology into patient care, emphasizing both continuous monitoring and innovative treatment options.
