TAKE Solutions Plans AI-Enabled One Minute Clinics to Expand Preventive Healthcare Access in India

The One Minute Clinic model is expected to integrate digital reports with follow-up pathways, including teleconsultations and referrals for further diagnostics, creating a connected preventive care ecosystem.

TAKE Solutions, a Chennai-based life sciences and supply chain management technology solutions company, has announced plans to roll out AI-enabled One Minute Clinics across India, marking its entry into the preventive healthcare segment as it looks to expand access to affordable, technology-driven health screenings beyond hospitals.

The company has said it plans to deploy compact, self-service diagnostic units capable of delivering preventive screenings, AI-assisted vital measurements, and instant digital health reports within minutes.

To accelerate deployment, TAKE Solutions plans to import fully integrated smart health units from China, a market known for large-scale adoption of AI-enabled digital health infrastructure. These units are expected to be placed in residential clusters, workplaces, and organized public spaces, allowing people to access basic preventive checks without visiting hospitals or diagnostic centres.

The clinics are designed to support early risk detection for lifestyle-related conditions such as metabolic disorders, cardiovascular issues, and sleep-related problems, which affect a substantial share of the adult population.

The initiative also aligns with broader digital health trends in India, where smartphone usage has crossed 600 million users and telemedicine adoption has increased since the pandemic.

The One Minute Clinic model is expected to integrate digital reports with follow-up pathways, including teleconsultations and referrals for further diagnostics, creating a connected preventive care ecosystem.

“Preventive healthcare will be one of the defining pillars of India's future health system,” said Parmeshvar Dhangare, Director of TAKE Solutions. “Through the planned One Minute Clinic initiative, we aim to explore scalable ways to make early health screening more accessible, intelligent, and affordable, while supporting a shift toward data-driven and preventive healthcare models.”

The plan places TAKE Solutions in a competitive and increasingly regulated environment. India has begun tightening oversight of AI-based diagnostic tools, requiring clinical validation and approvals for imported technologies, which could influence rollout timelines.

Despite these challenges, TAKE Solutions has indicated that the One Minute Clinic initiative fits into its longer-term roadmap focused on AI-driven diagnostics, preventive health analytics, and community-based healthcare delivery.
