Reliance Jio Introduces AI Clinic with Smart Features for Quick Health Assessments

JioAarogya AI categorizes patients based on their condition, prioritizing those needing immediate medical help, reducing pressure on doctors by filtering non-critical cases and directing urgent ones for quicker intervention.

Reliance has introduced JioArogya AI, an AI Clinic designed to simplify primary healthcare through smart mirror scans and a voice-enabled AI doctor, at the India AI Impact Summit 2026.

The system is designed to deliver quick health assessments, flag potential risks, and guide patients toward specialist care when necessary.

JioArogya AI builds on Reliance’s telecom and digital infrastructure to bridge the gap between primary consultations and specialist referrals, especially in areas where medical professionals are limited.

At the centre of the AI Clinic is a “Smart Mirror” that scans visible indicators such as the eyes and skin to detect potential health concerns. The system processes these visual cues within minutes to generate an initial health profile.

Alongside it, a “Voice AI Doctor” interacts with patients in multiple Indian languages, collecting symptom details conversationally to ensure wider accessibility across diverse populations.

“JioAarogya AI” categorizes patients based on their condition, prioritizing those needing immediate medical help.

This triage approach is designed to reduce pressure on doctors by filtering non-critical cases and directing urgent ones for quicker intervention.

Reliance has also indicated that portable medical equipment, such as handheld ECG devices and mobile X-ray units, can be integrated with the AI Clinic.

With stable digital connectivity, these clinics can be deployed beyond urban centres. The platform further enables online consultations and digital medicine ordering, linking screening to follow-up care.

Reliance has clarified that the AI system only provides an initial assessment; no medicine or treatment is given without a doctor's consultation.
