The Elevate Platform integrates Artificial Intelligence tools designed to improve diagnostic efficiency and streamline operations.
Royal Philips has launched the AI-enabled Elevate Platform upgrade on its EPIQ Elite ultrasound imaging system in India.
The announcement was made during UltraFest 2025, highlighting the growing adoption of automation in diagnostic imaging to address rising clinical demands.
The Elevate Platform integrates Artificial Intelligence tools designed to improve diagnostic efficiency and streamline operations.
Key updates include Quick Launch presets for routine procedures, automated brightness and uniformity adjustment, and CEUS AutoScan, which optimizes image quality at the pixel and frame level.
According to the company, the platform's features support both onsite and remote diagnostics by enabling proactive system monitoring and virtual consultation. This approach reduces on-site dependencies and improves access to care, particularly in resource-constrained settings.
The upgrade is equipped to support clinical teams with remote system troubleshooting and real-time image quality optimization. With Auto ElastQ, the system also provides a simplified, non-invasive method for measuring liver stiffness, facilitating early and accurate liver health assessments.
Regarding the launch, Sachin Grover, Head of Ultrasound, Philips Indian Subcontinent, said, “We enable clinicians to deliver high-quality care more efficiently with smarter automation, faster diagnostics, and greater clinical precision. At Philips, we firmly believe in the transformative potential of Artificial Intelligence to make healthcare more effective, accessible, and inclusive, bringing us closer to a future where we provide better care for more people.”
The Elevate Platform’s automation suite includes features to improve workflow precision and reduce imaging setup time. Quick Launch presets simplify procedural workflows, while automated image adjustments reduce manual intervention during scans. These enhancements aim to support care delivery across diverse clinical settings.
Furthermore, the company emphasized that the AI capabilities embedded within Elevate are tailored to support clinicians in making timely and confident decisions, ultimately aiming to enhance patient outcomes.
