4baseCare Signs MoU With Maharashtra Government to Set Up Precision Oncology Centre

The initiative is aimed at expanding access to precision oncology and enabling data-driven cancer treatment across government healthcare institutions in the state.

4baseCare has entered into a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with the Government of Maharashtra to establish a Centre of Excellence for Precision Oncology, focusing on integrating genomic-based cancer care into the public healthcare system.

The agreement was formalized during PULSE 2026, a healthcare and medical education summit held in Mumbai. The initiative is aimed at expanding access to precision oncology and enabling data-driven cancer treatment across government healthcare institutions in the state.

As part of the collaboration, 4baseCare will deploy its OncoTwin platform, an artificial intelligence-based tool designed to assist oncologists in deriving treatment insights. The platform maps a patient’s genomic and clinical data against real-world outcomes datasets to support evidence-based decision-making. OncoTwin has previously been selected for the MSK iHub programme of Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center in New York.

The Centre of Excellence will focus on building clinico-genomic datasets and enabling access to advanced cancer diagnostics. It will be equipped with Next Generation Sequencing (NGS) technology to support genomic profiling of cancer patients. This approach is expected to assist clinicians in tailoring treatment strategies based on individual genetic profiles.

Hitesh Goswami, CEO and Co-Founder of 4baseCare, said the collaboration aims to expand access to personalized cancer treatment. “This MoU marks an important step towards creating more effective and personalized cancer treatment approaches. We aim to integrate genomic insights into routine cancer care, enabling oncologists to make more informed, evidence-based treatment decisions,” he said.

The initiative is expected to support oncologists across public healthcare facilities in Maharashtra by providing access to advanced tools and data-backed insights for cancer treatment planning.
