Aura,an AI-powered heart care chatbot, offers consultations for just ₹1 per day. Created by the Postgraduate Institute of Medical Education and Research (PGIMER), Chandigarh, the chatbot aims to make cardiac care more accessible and affordable.

The chatbot offers AI-powered responses to patient queries related to cardiac health. It is available 24/7, offers multilingual support, including Hindi and English, and is currently being piloted through PGIMER’s Department of Cardiology.

The move seeks to democratize healthcare in India, especially for rural and low-income populations who struggle with access to specialists.

What Does Aura Do?

The AI-powered chatbot provides basic cardiac health advice, including symptoms, lifestyle changes, and medication guidance. It helps users understand their heart conditions and offers follow-up reminders.

Further, the tool can triage symptoms and suggest whether a user should seek emergency care or schedule a routine check-up.

It is specifically designed to complement, not replace, human doctors, especially in underserved areas.
