The latest investment is expected to support product development while enabling the startup to scale AI-driven automation across hospitals and clinics.
Kochi-based Mykare, an AI healthcare startup, has raised $3.2 Mn to strengthen its AI-powered healthcare platform, expand its provider network, and accelerate international growth.
The latest investment is expected to support product development while enabling the startup to scale AI-driven automation across hospitals and clinics.
Founded by Senu Sam, Rahmathulla T M, and Joash Philipose, Mykare was established to simplify access to quality healthcare by connecting patients with hospitals that offer affordable treatment options.
Instead of operating healthcare facilities, the startup focuses on building a technology platform that helps providers streamline patient engagement while improving operational efficiency.
The startup previously raised USD 2.2 Mn in seed funding in 2023 from investors including OnDeck ODX and Avaana Seed.
The latest USD 1 Mn bridge round was led by Andrew Parker and Alfredo Vaamonde, co-founders of US-based healthtech company Papa.com, along with participation from a family office based in the Middle East.
The investment brings Mykare's total funding to USD 3.2 Mn and will primarily be used to enhance artificial intelligence capabilities, speed up product innovation, and deepen the company's presence in its existing global markets.
Mykare's strategy is to automate the patient journey from the first interaction through post-treatment engagement, combining AI agents and voice AI to manage appointment bookings, patient communication, follow-ups, feedback collection, and administrative workflows.
Mykare says its AI solutions are currently deployed across 30 to 35 larger healthcare facilities, and plans are underway to expand the technology to nearly 100 clinics in the near future.
Beyond India, the company has built a presence in the United States, the United Kingdom, and the Middle East, while continuing to operate across major Indian metropolitan regions including Delhi NCR, Mumbai, Bengaluru, and Hyderabad.
It is also reportedly in discussions with a large dental chain in Qatar as part of its regional expansion efforts.
