Medicover Hospitals in Navi Mumbai has inaugurated a dedicated Women and Child Wing, featuring a state-of-the-art Level III Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU).

The new facility was introduced via an open house tour, offering visitors a first-hand look at its comprehensive setup for round-the-clock maternal and neonatal care.

The NICU is designed to handle complex cases, offering timely interventions that can be life-saving during complicated pregnancies or preterm deliveries.

It is staffed by a dedicated team comprising neonatologists, pediatric intensivists, and specially trained nurses, combining cutting-edge technology with compassionate, round-the-clock care.

The facility also emphasizes active parental involvement, recognizing that well-informed parents are better equipped to participate in their child’s care journey.

Recently, Medicover Hospital in Navi Mumbai introduced the MISSO robotic system for knee and hip replacements. The advanced technology ensures greater surgical precision, reduced pain, shorter hospital stays, and quicker recovery.

In a landmark surgery, a 76-year-old patient was able to walk just two hours after the procedure, highlighting the system’s effectiveness.

In another instance, Lupin Digital Health partnered with Medicover Hospitals in 2024 to launch AI-powered, at-home cardiac rehabilitation using its Lyfe digital therapeutics platform.

The initiative aimed to bridge post-discharge care gaps across 23 hospitals in India, offering continuous monitoring and personalized recovery support to cardiac patients.
