The kiosk has been designed to support rapid evaluation of major stroke-related risk factors such as blood pressure, blood sugar, BMI, lipid profile, and vascular health indicators.
The Indian Stroke Association (ISA), under its “Save the Brain” campaign, has partnered with Rotary Bengaluru HSR to strengthen stroke prevention efforts through the launch of an advanced digital health screening kiosk aimed at improving early risk detection and public awareness.
As part of the initiative, the organisations installed the hPod by IHL, a clinically validated and award-winning health screening kiosk capable of assessing over 50 health parameters within minutes.
The kiosk has been designed to support rapid evaluation of major stroke-related risk factors such as blood pressure, blood sugar, BMI, lipid profile, and vascular health indicators.
The initiative has focused on encouraging preventive healthcare and improving public access to regular health screening.
Dr Vikram Huded, President, Indian Stroke Association (ISA), said, “Brain stroke is preventable and treatable with timely screening, early risk identification, and immediate medical care. Through initiatives like ‘Save the Brain,’ we aim to increase awareness, encourage preventive screening, improve timely stroke recognition, and strengthen access to stroke-ready care across the country.”
He noted that public awareness campaigns remain essential in improving emergency response and reducing delays in accessing stroke care across India.
The initiative was conducted by the Indian Stroke Association in association with Rotary Bengaluru HSR, with support from The HSR Club and donation support from CHASHA as part of broader efforts to promote preventive healthcare and stroke awareness at the community level.
