Humeta AI Expands to UAE & US to Fight Health Misinformation

India’s HealthPresso TechnoMedia has announced the expansion of its AI-powered healthcare content platform, Humeta, to the United Arab Emirates (UAE) and the United States.

Originally launched in India, Humeta is designed to simplify complex medical communication between healthcare professionals and patients. It utilizes generative AI, trained on more than 3.5 million verified medical datasets, and is built on a proprietary Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) architecture.

This technology transforms clinical language into clear, patient-friendly content for over 50 medical specialties, ensuring compliance with international regulations, including those of the FDA, EMA, and CDSCO.

It is now expanding its efforts to combat health misinformation on a global scale. "With our expansion, we're now enabling content creation at the point of care in the UAE through hospital networks, clinics, and standalone specialty centers, and in the USA, where we're working with medical associations and pharma brands to ensure every piece of healthcare communication is grounded in accuracy and governance," said Daleep Manhas, CEO and co-founder of HUMETA.

To fund this expansion, HealthPresso is raising $2 million in a pre-seed round, following its securing of $300,000 from angel investors in July 2025. The money will help scale Humeta’s technology, build local partnerships, and integrate with hospital systems in both markets.

Boosting Doctor Communication with AI

Right now, only a small number of doctors create patient-friendly health information. In India, fewer than 5% of 1.2 million registered doctors contribute regularly, even though the country produces more than 50,000 new MBBS graduates every year.

Globally, 80% of physicians remain silent, leaving a gap that fuels confusion and misinformation. Humeta is built to change that by making content creation faster, easier, and medically precise.

Humeta aims to activate this “silent 80%” by enabling clinicians to quickly generate accurate, patient-friendly content in over 50 languages.

The company says Humeta is already in use by over 50 hospitals, 300 clinics, and 5,000 doctors in India. It produces a range of materials, from CME modules and discharge summaries to patient explainers and scientific publications.

“The danger isn't just in what's missing; it's in what's misrepresented. HUMETA brings order to this chaos. A platform that understands clinical nuance, complies with regulations, and empowers every healthcare actor to create credible, intelligent communication,” says Siddhant Srivastava, co-founder and partner of business growth.

Fixing Misinformation in Healthcare

Misunderstandings around diagnoses, treatments, and prescriptions can lead to poor outcomes. For this, Humeta ensures that all generated content is grounded in verified medical knowledge. While it doesn’t monitor misinformation online, it ensures that whatever leaves a doctor’s desk is accurate and regulation-ready.

HealthPresso is also working to integrate Humeta into Electronic Health Records (EHRs) so doctors can generate patient-specific content directly from their records, saving time and improving consistency.

“We are not just building a product; we're creating the central nervous system of global healthcare communication, making HUMETA.ai the ultimate 'go-to' platform that no healthcare entity can afford to ignore,” says Sanduja, co-founder and CTO of HUMETA.
