Healthtech Startup Lissun Raises INR 48 Cr in Series A Led by Colossa Ventures
The capital will be deployed to support the development of AI-led solutions on Lissun’s proprietary technology and data, while strengthening clinical processes across the network.
Gurugram-based healthtech startup Lissun, which focuses on developmental care for children with special needs and developmental delays, has raised INR 48 crore in a Series A funding round led by Colossa Ventures.
The funding round also saw participation from Physis Capital and existing investors, including RPSG Capital Ventures, Ivycap Ventures, Rainmatter, Multiply Ventures, and SucSEED Ventures, as well as new partners New Age India Fund and Beyond Capital Ventures.
The startup plans to use the fresh capital towards expanding its Sunshine by LISSUN child development centres across key cities in India.
The capital will also be deployed to support the development of AI-led solutions on Lissun’s proprietary technology and data, while strengthening clinical processes across the network.
Commenting on the latest funding, Krishna Veer Singh, Co-founder and CEO, Lissun said, “We have always believed technology would be central to Lissun’s vision. Today, our AI tools largely support therapists and parents, but the bigger opportunity is building AI-led solutions on our own proprietary technology and data, with the potential to reach millions of children across India who lack access to quality developmental care. This fundraise lets us scale both our centers and that platform to serve a much larger population of children and families”
Founded in 2021 by Krishna Veer Singh and Tarun Gupta, Lissun currently operates through its childcare brand, Sunshine by LISSUN, which is building a network of child development centers across India alongside a suite of AI-led platforms and digital healthcare tools.
The Gurugram-based startup had previously raised INR 2.5 million in a pre-Series A round led by RPSG Capital Ventures in September 2024.
Further, it also raised INR 2.77 crore from Zerodha and other investors in June this year.
Sharing his thoughts, Tarun Gupta, Co-founder, Sunshine by Lissun, said, “Our goal with Sunshine by LISSUN is to build an ecosystem where technology, therapists, and people come together for every child with special needs. This next phase lets us scale that single specialty, AI-led model, not just to support our therapists and centers, but to build proprietary AI-led products that can reach far more children than our centers alone ever could.”
