The funding marks the company’s first capital infusion since its $2.5 million pre-Series A round led by RPSG Ventures in September 2024.

Gurugram-based mental health startup Lissun has raised INR 2.77 crore in fresh funding from existing investor Rainmatter, India Foundation Fund, and a group of individual investors, according to regulatory filings reviewed by Entrackr.

The funding marks the company’s first capital infusion since its $2.5 million pre-Series A round led by RPSG Ventures in September 2024. Based on Entrackr estimates, the latest transaction has increased Lissun’s valuation by around 40% to approximately INR 101 crore from INR 72 crore in the previous round.

According to filings with the Registrar of Companies (RoC), Lissun allotted convertible notes worth INR 2 crore to Rainmatter and INR 50 lakh to India Foundation Fund. The company also issued 730 equity shares at INR 3,728 per share, raising an additional INR 27 lakh from individual investors.

In a separate development, the company’s board approved the Management Stock Option Plan 13579 (MSOP). Under the plan, stock options worth approximately INR 5.06 crore were granted to promoters, directors, and senior management personnel at an exercise price of INR 3,728 per option.

The company said the proceeds will be utilized for general business operations and working capital requirements.

Founded in 2021 by Dr. Krishna Veer Singh and Tarun Gupta, Lissun operates a technology-enabled mental health platform that provides therapy, counseling, and wellness services for individuals and enterprises. The startup claims to have conducted more than 35,000 therapy sessions across over 40 cities and serves more than 200 clients through partnerships with corporates, healthcare providers, and educational institutions.

The company has not yet filed its FY26 financial statements. In FY25, Lissun reported operating revenue of INR 5.13 crore, nearly doubling from INR 2.66 crore in FY24. During the same period, its losses increased 8.2% to INR 9.85 crore from INR 9.10 crore a year earlier.

In July 2025, Lissun acquired US-based mental wellbeing startup Being Cares Inc. The acquisition expanded the company’s presence in behavioral health and supported its efforts to build AI-enabled mental wellness and child development solutions.
