Healthians Founder Deepak Sahni Unveils New Venture ‘Un:Bloc’
The new initiative is a platform-led approach and is expected to have potential relevance across healthcare, digital platforms, or other large-scale service ecosystems.
Founder of Gurugram-based healthtech startup Healthians, Deepak Sahni, has announced the launch of a new venture, Un: Bloc, aimed at addressing systemic challenges.
Un:Bloc is a platform-led initiative, intended to tackle systemic inefficiencies at scale, and is expected to have potential relevance across healthcare, digital platforms, or other large-scale service ecosystems.
The announcement was made on the occasion of World Health Day and follows Sahni‘s transition away from executive responsibilities at the diagnostic company.
As per reports, Un Bloc is currently in a pre-launch phase.
However, details about its sector, product offerings, or operating model are not disclosed yet
Sharing the announcement in a social post, Sahni reflected on his journey and said, “12 years ago on this day, I started Healthians. No playbook, just conviction! What we built changed how India experiences diagnostics. After Healthians, a lot of people asked me, what’s next? The answer is ready now, and it’s Un: Bloc. Bigger in ambition. Deeper in purpose. And more meaningful in impact.”
The new development comes amid Sahni's recent announcement of stepping down from the executive role of Healthians.
Under Sahni’s leadership, Healthians raised a total of $75 million in funding, with WestBridge, BEENEXT, DG Ventures, and YouWeCan among its lead investors.
Founded in 2015, Healthians is a diagnostic platform that provides at-home services across India.
Over the years, the startup has expanded its presence in more than 300 cities, building more than 22 labs and raising its valuation to INR 3000 crore.
Apart from his entrepreneurial pursuits, Sahni is also an active angel investor. He recently announced an INR 100 crore investment fund aimed at supporting startups over the next three years, with investments already made across sectors, including consumer brands and technology-driven ventures.
