The rollout provides live operational visibility into thousands of daily diagnostic sample movements across India.

Credent Connect N Care, a healthtech & logistics startup based in Bangalore, has launched India’s first IoT-enabled solution designed specifically for diagnostic logistics, combining live GPS tracking with continuous temperature monitoring for transporting biological samples.

The rollout aims to strengthen sample integrity, improve compliance tracking, and support the growing demand for decentralised diagnostics and home-based healthcare services across the country.

“We are not building a tracking device. We are building the technological backbone of India's diagnostic supply chain. Every sample that moves carries with it a commitment to quality, traceability, and patient safety. This launch is the foundation of that commitment at scale,” said Tarun Sharma, MD, Credent Connect N Care.

The IoT platform has automated cloud-based data recording and smart alert systems into a single diagnostics logistics infrastructure.

The startup said the technology has been built specifically for pre-analytical logistics, a critical stage between sample collection and laboratory processing where temperature deviations, delays, and manual handling errors can directly affect diagnostic accuracy.

The newly launched system continuously monitors shipment conditions during transit and sends configurable alerts if predefined temperature thresholds are breached.

By creating a digital chain-of-custody record through automated cloud synchronisation, the platform is also expected to support laboratories and hospital networks in meeting quality assurance and compliance requirements linked to biological sample transportation.

As part of its first deployment phase, the company has installed more than 5,000 IoT-enabled devices across collection centres, hospital campuses, and inter-city pathology transport corridors.

The rollout provides live operational visibility into thousands of daily diagnostic sample movements across India.

The company currently operates across more than 450 cities and covers over 20,000 PIN codes through a workforce of over 6,500 field professionals.

Credent manages more than 10 lakh diagnostic samples every month, supporting intra-city and inter-city healthcare logistics, home sample collection, and supply chain operations for laboratories and healthcare providers.

Credent has indicated that the current rollout marks the beginning of a broader technology expansion roadmap.

The company plans to further scale device deployment, integrate predictive analytics capabilities, and strengthen digital connectivity across India’s diagnostics supply chain infrastructure.
