Bengaluru-based pharmacy-focused quick-commerce startup Plazza has raised $15 million in a Series A funding round co-led by Accel, Elevation Capital, and Nexus Venture Partners.

The round also saw participation from existing investors, including All In Capital and Better Capital.

The fresh capital will be deployed to strengthen the company's technology platform, deepen its AI-driven inventory and assortment intelligence, build operational capabilities, and expand its pharmacy network into new geographies.

Founded in 2024 by Aman Priyadarshi, Plazza operates a pharmacy-first quick commerce platform that focuses on medicine availability through AI-powered inventory management and 15 to 30-minute delivery.

The latest funding comes around 10 months after the Bengaluru-based startup raised $1.4 million in a seed funding round led by All In Capital. Better Capital, Tracxn founder Abhishek Goyal, Vivekananda Hallekere, the Singhania family office, and the promoters of JK Tyre also participated in that round.

According to the company, each Plazza store stocks more than 40,000 SKUs, around eight times the inventory of a typical neighbourhood pharmacy.

It claims this enables prescription fill rates of over 95%, compared to the industry average of 50% to 60%.

The startup reported its gross merchandise value (GMV) grew nearly 27X between June 2025 and March 2026.

The startup aims to address a longstanding challenge in India's pharmaceutical retail market, where local pharmacies generally stock only a fraction of the medicines available nationwide despite the market comprising more than 100,000 SKUs.

As per the startup, its AI-powered inventory planning system analyses neighbourhood-level prescribing patterns intended to determine which medicines should be stocked at individual stores, enabling higher prescription fulfilment rates than traditional pharmacies.

Currently, the startup operates two stores with further plans to add eight more over the next one to two months, taking its network to 10 outlets.

Furthermore, Plazza is targeting approximately 20 stores across Bengaluru by the end of 2026 as it scales its pharmacy-led quick commerce model.
