Apollo Hospitals has teamed up with TechEagle, an Indian leader in autonomous drone logistics, to launch India's first 10-Minute Diagnostic Drone Delivery (D3) service.

TechEagle's drones are powered by a Central Command & Control System that offers real-time monitoring and secure deliveries.

The 10-Minute Diagnostic Drone Delivery service features fully autonomous operations, live tracking, 5G connectivity for seamless data integration, and all-weather functionality, guaranteeing reliable service 24/7.

Vikram Singh Meena, Founder & CEO, TechEagle, said, "Every minute counts in healthcare. While food and e-commerce deliveries happen in minutes, critical medical samples still take hours. That delay can be the difference between life and death. With TechEagle's AI-powered drones, Apollo Hospitals ensures that liquid biopsy samples—essential for early cancer detection—reach labs in just 10 minutes. The healthcare industry deserves the same speed and efficiency as consumer logistics, and we're making that a reality."

A key issue in cancer care is the lengthy process of transporting liquid biopsy samples, which can take several hours. This delay can hinder early detection and necessary treatment.

The D3 service seeks to resolve this challenge by using AI-powered drones capable of delivering biopsy samples in just 10 minutes.

At the launch, Dr Sangita Reddy, Joint Managing Director, Apollo Hospitals, said, "Drone-based healthcare delivery has been successful in African nations. This is just the beginning—drones can be used for organ transport, emergency medical deliveries, and much more. The future of healthcare is faster, safer, and more efficient."

She further emphasized the transformative potential of drone-based healthcare solutions.

Morever, she referenced successful drone logistics in African nations, highlighting that this service is merely the beginning.

Drones hold promise for transporting organs and delivering emergency medical supplies, revolutionizing emergency healthcare by ensuring that essential items reach their destinations promptly.

While the D3 service is primarily healthcare-focused, TeachEagle plans to extend its drone delivery technology across various sectors. This includes e-commerce, quick commerce, and logistics, enhancing the efficiency of deliveries in multiple industries.

The initiative, introduced at THIT 2025, aims to accelerate the transportation of medical samples, addressing significant delays in diagnostics and treatment.
