This initiative is part of the company's larger plan to improve access to diagnostic services and early health interventions, especially for underserved communities.
Aayush Wellness, a health and wellness company, has announced an investment of INR 25 crore to expand its preventive healthcare offerings by introducing smart health kiosks.
The expansion will begin with the launch of its first healthcare center in Virar, Maharashtra.
This initiative is part of the company's larger plan to improve access to diagnostic services and early health interventions, especially for underserved communities.
The newly launched health ATM, branded as the Cloud Clinic model, can perform various diagnostic tests in 2 to 3 minutes. It also includes features for managing digital health records and offering telemedicine consultations. According to the company, the goal is to identify health issues before they become critical, enabling timely intervention.
Highlighting the focus on rural and semi-urban populations, Aayush Wellness Managing Director Naveena Kumar said, "The Cloud Clinic model through this Health ATM is unique as it will deliver affordable yet high-quality healthcare services to the underprivileged population of India."
Kumar further emphasized the initiative's preventive care dimension. He said, "Our solution promotes early detection and prevention and empowers individuals, especially those in rural and semi-urban areas, to take charge of their health in an accessible, cost-effective manner."
The company stated that the INR 25 crore investment will be part of the first expansion phase, with further investments to be reviewed based on evolving business requirements. Plans include expanding presence across multiple regions in India and strengthening the offline distribution network for improved healthcare access.
According to the company’s statement, these kiosks will form the core of its preventive healthcare infrastructure, delivering diagnostics and consultation services outside traditional clinical settings.
Following the announcement, shares of Aayush Wellness were trading 2% higher at INR 85.25 apiece on the Bombay Stock Exchange.
