Chief Minister of Uttar Pradesh Yogi Adityanath has inaugurated the Yatharth Super Speciality Hospital in Agra today, marking the entry of the Yatharth Group of Hospitals into the city and adding a new healthcare facility to the region.
The hospital is located on National Highway 19 and has been developed as a 250-bed tertiary care centre with modern medical infrastructure and advanced treatment capabilities. The facility is expected to support healthcare delivery for residents of Agra and nearby districts.
The hospital will provide specialised medical services, including cardiac care, neurosurgery, critical care and organ transplant procedures such as liver and kidney transplants.
Equipped with advanced medical technology and supported by a team of doctors and trained nursing staff, the hospital aims to deliver specialised treatment locally and reduce the need for patients to travel to larger cities for advanced care.
During the inauguration, the Chief Minister spoke about the broader expansion of healthcare infrastructure and medical education in India. Highlighting developments in the state, he added, “Before 2017, Uttar Pradesh had only 17 medical colleges. Today, 81 medical colleges are functioning across the state.”
