Wing Commander M K Bose has taken over as the CEO of Amor Hospitals, Hyderabad, bringing with him over 4 decades of professional experience spanning military service and healthcare leadership.
Bose said he was stepping into the position with “immense gratitude, humility, and a clear sense of purpose,” while emphasizing his commitment to exemplary patient care, patient safety, clinical excellence, and compassionate healing.
He further added that Amor Group of Hospitals aims to go beyond disease treatment by delivering healthcare with “dignity, empathy, and hope,” particularly in cancer care and superspeciality services.
Calling the journey ahead both “challenging” and “inspiring,” Bose expressed confidence that the institution would continue evolving into a benchmark healthcare provider through collective effort, innovation, integrity, and a strong human-centred approach.
Before joining Amor Hospitals, Bose served as the Chief Executive Officer of Seven Hills Hospital, Vizag, for four years, where he was associated with hospital operations and organizational development initiatives.
Over the years, he has held senior leadership positions at several healthcare institutions, including Malla Reddy Group of Hospitals, MR Narayana Superspeciality Hospital, Rajiv Gandhi Superspeciality Hospital under the Apollo Group, and L V Prasad Eye Institute.
His healthcare management career has largely focused on hospital operations, institutional expansion, NABH accreditation processes, financial stewardship, and clinical governance.
Bose has also been associated with infrastructure planning, manpower development, and strengthening operational systems in tertiary and multi-speciality healthcare facilities.
Prior to entering hospital administration, Bose served in the Indian Air Force for nearly 22 years as a commissioned officer, retiring with the rank of Wing Commander.
Throughout his career, Bose has received multiple recognitions for leadership and healthcare management. In 2023, he was awarded the ‘Most Promising CEO of the Year’ in healthcare by ASSOCHAM.
The appointment is expected to support Amor Hospitals’ focus on strengthening healthcare delivery, operational systems, and patient engagement in Hyderabad’s growing healthcare market.
