The Whoop 5.0 features upgraded sensors providing deeper insights into sleep, recovery, strain, stress, and overall health.
Whoop, a US-based healthtech and wearables company, has launched latest health tracking devices.
The two new fitness devices, Whoop 5.0 and Whoop MG are equipped with advanced health monitoring features.
Announcing the launch on May 8, Whoop founder and CEO Will Ahmed said, “This launch is the start of a new era for WHOOP. At a time when healthcare systems are reactive and often inaccessible, we’re building a health platform that empowers members to put the power back in their hands. WHOOP is evolving into the central operating system for health.”
The Whoop 5.0 features upgraded sensors providing deeper insights into sleep, recovery, strain, stress, and overall health. It also offers a haptic alarm for improved sleep performance.
Meanwhile, the Whoop MG includes blood pressure monitoring and an ECG/Heart Screener cleared by the US Food and Drug Administration (FDA).
The Whoop wearables come with enhanced health tracking capabilities aimed at delivering more personalized insights.
Whoop Age estimates a user’s physiological age and monitors how quickly they are aging.
Hormonal Insights helps users better understand their menstrual cycles and hormonal health, offering more tailored wellness data.
Additionally, the updated Sleep Performance score offers a deeper look into sleep quality, making it easier for users to assess and improve their rest and recovery.
Further, the company is working on a feature called Advanced Labs, which will allow users to schedule blood tests through the app for more personalized cardiovascular, metabolic, hormonal, and immune health insights.
