US-based healthtech startup Confido Health has raised $12.5 million in a Series A funding round led by Z47, with participation from existing investors Together Fund and Blume Ventures.

The newly raised capital will be used to expand AI-powered CareOS across healthcare organisations with multiple locations.

The startup also plans to leverage the proceeds from the fund to develop AI agents to support additional workflows and medical specialties.

The latest funding round follows a $10 million Series A round announced in September.

The startup had previously raised $3 million in a seed round led by Together Fund in December 2024.

Founded in 2022 by Chetan Reddy and Vichar Shroff, Confido Health develops AI agents to manage tasks such as appointment scheduling, insurance verification, and care coordination.

The AI agents integrate with existing healthcare systems through no-code deployment, with the company claiming a setup time of less than five minutes.

Its CareOS platform integrates with more than 50 systems, including electronic health records, practice management, phone, billing, and fax systems.

The platform is designed to work with existing healthcare technology infrastructure, allowing providers to adopt its capabilities without replacing their current systems.

Confido Health primarily serves healthcare groups operating across multiple locations, particularly those backed by private equity firms.

Its distribution strategy includes partnerships with private equity investors to establish connections with their portfolio companies.

Currently, it operates across more than 1,500 care sites, primarily independent practice groups, in 27 states and serves around 3,200 providers.

The platform uses information collected during patient intake, including patient details, referral information, and payer requirements, to initiate and manage subsequent workflows.

According to the startup, a single interaction can trigger multiple tasks, including referral processing, appointment scheduling, prescription refill requests, and payment-related activities.

Confido Health further reported 15x growth since its previous funding round and achieved AI handle rates of more than 95% across key end-to-end office workflows.

It also claims its platform adds capacity equivalent to three to five full-time employees on average within three months of deployment.

With the fresh capital, Confido Health plans to expand its AI agent capabilities across additional medical specialties, including ophthalmology and optometry, physical therapy, dental care, primary care, and community care
