Medical Tourism Startup CureMeAbroad Plans Over 40 Experience Centres Across Australia, US & UK
Through its digital platform, CureMeAbroad connects patients with more than 400 hospital partners across Turkey, Thailand, India, Mexico, Georgia and other destinations.
CureMeAbroad, an AI-led medical tourism platform, has signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) to expand into Australia through a network of experience centres, with the first centre scheduled to open in Brisbane on October 15, 2026. The company plans to establish more than 40 centres across Australia, the US and the UK.
The centres will provide patients with in-person consultations and on-site doctor teleconsultations to help them explore treatment options abroad.
Through its digital platform, CureMeAbroad connects patients with more than 400 hospital partners across Turkey, Thailand, India, Mexico, Georgia and other destinations. Patients can also access its AI cost estimator and journey planner, with coordinators providing support.
Australia is among the company’s key source markets, alongside the US, UK, Germany and the GCC. The expansion comes as CureMeAbroad reports revenue growth of 4.4 times across the first and second quarters and a 17% improvement in margins. The company said it has reached operational profitability and is working towards becoming cash flow positive.
CureMeAbroad is also expanding its treatment offerings to include oncology, neurology, orthopaedics, surrogacy and IVF. It plans to widen its destination network, with Mexico, Vietnam and Indonesia next.
Commenting on the expansion, Aditya Oza, Co-founder and CEO, CureMeAbroad, said, "Patients considering treatment abroad often want to sit across a table from a real person before they commit, and that matters even more as we move into areas like oncology, neurology, surrogacy and IVF,"
"Our revenue is growing, our treatments and destinations are expanding, and the market is big. The experience centres bring that trust to our digital platform, and we are starting with Australia."
Joshua Finlay, who said he had known Oza and Mikhail for a year and had been in discussions about the initiative, said, "I have known Aditya and Mikhail for a year now, and we have been in talks about starting this for a while. It could not have come at a better time, with CureMeAbroad growing the way it is and adding treatments like oncology, neurology and IVF,"
Following the Brisbane opening, the company plans to open additional centres across Australia before expanding the model to the US and the UK. It aims to establish more than 40 centres in total while continuing to add treatments and destinations and working towards cash flow positive.
CureMeAbroad helps patients find, compare and book treatment with hospitals worldwide. It connects patients across markets including the US, UK, Australia and Canada with partner hospitals globally and manages their treatment journeys.
