The Health Department is introducing advanced medical services, including X-ray, MRI, and laboratory facilities.
Moreover, temporary hospitals, equipped to handle up to INR 10 Lakh OPD visits and 10,000 IPD admissions, are under construction to address potential health needs.
Additionally, a team of doctors from AIIMS Raebareli will be available to provide medical support.
VK Mishra, Joint Director of Medical Health in Prayagraj, stated that under Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath’s instructions, a dedicated team is working around the clock to ensure devotees' health and safety.
A 100-bed hospital is being set up at the Parade Ground, along with comprehensive testing facilities for attendees. Nearby hospitals are also being upgraded to accommodate the large influx of visitors.
In terms of healthcare facility rankings, Uttar Pradesh boasts 14 of the top 25 facilities with the highest OPD registrations, followed by five in Andhra Pradesh.
According to the National Health Authority (NHA), the scan and share service, a component of the Ayushman Bharat Digital Mission (ABDM), has marked a significant achievement by recording over 24 million digital out-patient department (OPD) registrations since its launch in September 2022.
Uttar Pradesh leads the tally with more than 7.8 million OPD tokens generated, followed by Andhra Pradesh with 4.2 million tokens and Karnataka with 3.4 million tokens.
