The newly launched facility is equipped with more than 120 critical care beds, 10 modular operating theatres, and advanced Cath Labs.
Union Health Minister Jagat Prakash Nadda has inaugurated a 300-bed Max Super Specialty Hospital in Delhi’s Dwarka.
The launch is seen as a major step forward in strengthening the city's healthcare infrastructure.
Further, it coincides with Max Healthcare Institute’s 25th anniversary celebrations.
The facility, equipped with more than 120 critical care beds, 10 modular operating theatres, and advanced Cath Labs, is designed to address complex medical needs while enhancing patient outcomes.
The company plans to invest INR 6,500 Cr by FY28 to support this growth.
As a greenfield project, the hospital also aims to focus on sustainability, featuring clean energy solutions, zero-liquid discharge systems, and electric vehicle charging points.
At the event, Minister Nadda emphasized public-private partnerships in building a ‘Viksit Bharat’ (Developed India) and reaffirmed the government’s commitment to making quality healthcare accessible and affordable.
“Institutions like Max are vital partners in our vision of a Viksit Bharat, where public-private partnerships play a crucial role in strengthening the healthcare ecosystem and help make healthcare more accessible, affordable, and equitable,” the Union minister said.
Delhi’s Health and Family Welfare Minister, Pankaj Singh, also commended Max Healthcare’s role in improving healthcare delivery in the region, highlighting the institution’s impact on the lives of residents.
Additionally, Max Healthcare is accelerating its growth through acquisitions and brownfield expansions.
As part of this strategy, the board has approved two major projects, including a 500-bed built-to-suit hospital in Thane in partnership with VR Konkan, and an increase in planned bed capacity at its Mohali facility from 250 to 400.
