The Mindray Resona I8 system incorporates ZONE Sonography Technology, AI-based automated measurement tools, and image-enhancement capabilities.

The diagnostic system supports advanced general imaging, vascular assessment, shared service diagnostics, and specialized women's health applications.

It also includes a high-resolution monitor, touchscreen controls, and battery-powered scanning for greater mobility in clinical settings.

The new system was installed in collaboration with medical equipment partner Aegous Healthcare based in Kochi.

Established in 1994, Kerala-based Udayagiri Hospital provides multispecialty healthcare services across departments including general medicine, cardiology, neurology, orthopaedics, gastroenterology, urology, paediatrics, obstetrics and gynaecology, general surgery and emergency medicine.

Its facilities and services include intensive care, diagnostic imaging, laboratory services, endoscopy, ambulance services, home care and immunisation.

Through the new installation, the hospital aims to enhance its advanced diagnostic infrastructure while expanding its ultrasound imaging capabilities to support a range of clinical assessments.
