TrialClinIQ Secures $150K From Caduceus Capital, Enters LAUNCH Accelerator & Opens $1.5M Round

Planned use of funds includes expanding engineering and data science capabilities, strengthening integrations with EHR and clinical data platforms, enhancing compliance and security infrastructure, and scaling partnerships.

TrialClinIQ, a Houston-based AI-powered clinical trial recruitment platform, has raised USD 150,000 in pre-seed funding from Caduceus Capital Partners, joined the LAUNCH accelerator, and initiated a $1.5 Mn round to advance its patient-matching technology and expand clinical trial access.

Founded by board-certified neurologist and clinical researcher Dr Jontel Pierce, TrialClinIQ is building infrastructure that uses AI to analyze eligibility criteria against clinical and demographic datasets.

The platform is designed to streamline workflows for sponsors, clinical research organizations, hospitals, and trial sites by reducing manual screening processes and accelerating enrollment timelines.

“Clinical trials drive innovation, but too many patients are still left out,” said Dr Jontel Pierce, founder and chief executive officer of TrialClinIQ. “We’re building the infrastructure to connect more patients to clinical trials by essentially decentralizing clinical trial recruitment.”

The USD 150K investment from Caduceus Capital Partners is accompanied by TrialClinIQ’s entry into the firm’s LAUNCH digital health accelerator, which provides mentorship, strategic guidance, and access to a network of healthcare operators and investors.

The accelerator focuses on early-stage companies working to modernize healthcare delivery and research systems.

The company has also opened a USD 1.5 Mn funding round to support its next phase of growth.

Planned use of funds includes expanding engineering and data science capabilities, strengthening integrations with electronic health records and clinical data platforms, enhancing compliance and security infrastructure, and scaling partnerships with healthcare providers and trial sponsors.

By combining interoperability with AI-driven insights, the company aims to create a more efficient and equitable recruitment model that can support faster and more representative clinical research outcomes.
