Sri Venkateswara Institute of Medical Sciences (SVIMS) has installed two advanced cancer-detection machines donated by Indian Oil Corporation Ltd (IOCL) under its Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) initiative.

SVIMS officials said the new machines will significantly enhance early cancer detection, offer radiation-free diagnostics, and benefit over 2.5 lakh underprivileged patients annually.

TTD Chairman and SVIMS governing body head B.R. Naidu, TUDA Chairman C. Divakar Reddy, and SVIMS Director Dr. R.V. Kumar were present during the event. IOCL Director (Marketing) Satish Kumar praised SVIMS for its patient-centric approach and commitment to advanced care, particularly for women.

B R Naidu said the donation aligns with SVIMS’ vision to become India’s top super-specialty hospital, with expanded focus on oncology and medical education.
