SGPGI Installs Smart Health ATM for Instant Check-Ups

The kiosk is also integrated with telemedicine and e-prescription services, allowing patients to consult specialists remotely for minor health concerns and get primary check-ups done on the spot.
In a move to improve patient convenience and expand digital health services, the Sanjay Gandhi Postgraduate Institute of Medical Sciences (SGPGI) has installed an automated healthcare machine on campus.
Inaugurated by SGPGI Director Prof RK Dhiman, the Health ATM is a self-service, touchscreen-based digital kiosk designed to conduct basic health tests and diagnostics in just a few minutes.
Equipped with advanced sensors and testing devices, the Health ATM can measure over 20 health parameters, including blood pressure, blood sugar (glucose), ECG, oxygen saturation (SpO2), BMI, body temperature, and pulse rate.
The kiosk is also integrated with telemedicine and e-prescription services, allowing patients to consult specialists remotely for minor health concerns and get primary check-ups done on the spot.
This initiative is part of SGPGI’s broader efforts to integrate smart, patient-friendly digital healthcare solutions on its premises.
